If you are like most people, you have boxes of photos and documents sitting in your basement. It's nearly impossible to find what you are looking for. Digitizing allows you to more easily search and find what you are looking for. Most people have the misconception that they need to organize their photos before they scan them. It's actually much easier to permanently organize your photos once they are on your computer. We can show you how to do this when we come to your home.

We utilize top-of-the-line scanning equipment to scan your hard copy photos into digital .jpg files. These files can be downloaded, emailed, printed, digitally scrap-booked and distributed however you see fit. Digital archiving also means that your photos will be around for a long time; these files can be backed up on hard disks, DVD's, flashdrives and online. Here are some samples from our family!

We scan photo's at 300 dpi. This scan quality is good for reproducing photo's of the same size. If you want to blow the photo up (i.e. 4x6 photo blown up to an 8x10), then it's recommended you scan at 600 dpi. We also recommend that you scan Black and White photo's at 600 dpi for better quality. Our scanners can scan up to 1200 dpi, which is generally unnecessary unless you are blowing up a small photo to a very large size. Please call for quote if you'd like us to scan at this resolution.

Don't have time to organize and clean all those old photos? We'll be glad to do it for you. Just box them up as is and send them in, we'll follow our proven process of organization and cleaning before we scan and archive your pictures.
